Jeff is a photographer & filmmaker, specialising in creative direction, cinematic lighting & unique portraiture.
Usually working across studios in Melbourne, Brisbane & Sydney, his work explores the shapes that appear between light and shade, capturing unique people + locations like you’ve never seen them before. Years of honing his approach sees him focus in on mood, lighting and a cinematic haze to evoke bold images with a recognisable colour palette.
Jeff is currently a finalist for the 2025 National Photographic Portrait Prize and will have his work displayed at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra after the launch in August (2025).
Having also exhibited his work in group + solo exhibitions in Queensland and Victoria, Jeff looks to dive further into capturing the world around him from the shadow side, looking into the light.
